Not long ago we told you about a work by New Zealand composer Leonie Holmes – This Watershed Time, a work which was premiered in New Zealand at the recent Festival of the Arts by none other than the King's Singers and Voices New Zealand Chamber Choir (see here). This glorious work is set to three beautiful poems by our very own and treasured Anne Powell rc. Leonie Holmes composed the piece especially for the King’s Singers (UK) during their one night at the International Festival of the Arts, in celebration of the Golden Anniversary of the Singers.
This is a feast for you and just what you need! It is being aired on Radio New Zealand at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 24 April. Put that in your diaries. If you miss it, you should be able to hear the subsequent podcast (which you'll want to hear again and again). Enjoy, enjoy.
