The Stations of the Cross
As we enter into the Lenten season, I offer my reflection for the month on a set of Stations of the Cross which I have found to be very challenging and thought provoking. I have had the set for some time and they were produced by Maryknoll Education Resources in North America. Some of the images relate to issues of times gone by, however, the problems of injustice and suffering continue to be borne in every corner of our very broken world today.
You may find you will search for more current images to depict today's sufferings and perhaps share these images with us also. It may also be that through our sharing we create a new set of "Stations".
As we pray and walk together the Way of the Cross may our hearts be open to receive the gifts this season offers us.
I am hoping to be sending a "Station" every 2nd day throughout March! Here they are below:
